At the present time all reservations must be booked within the Dosh App in order to earn cash back. Any reservations made directly on the hotel's website or made by calling the hotel will not be eligible for cash back. Please note, any hotel bookings made through a third party site (such as Expedia, etc.) will not be eligible for cash back either.
Please note, you must be a U.S. citizen in order to book a hotel through the Dosh app.
Once you have logged into the Dosh mobile app, you will see the Hotels icon at the bottom left of the navigation bar. Just tap on it to initiate your search!
Search: Dosh helps you find your hotel at the best prices with the most cash back. The first step is to enter details such as city, check-in/check-out dates, and the number of people traveling, then tap Search.
Search Results: You will be presented with hotels that match your criteria. Results are sorted by the most cash back first unless you change the sort criteria.
Sort & Filter: You can sort and filter your search results by tapping the Sort & Filter button.
You can enter a specific hotel name here and sort results by:
- Most cash back
- Distance to city center
- Price: High to Low and Low to High
- Dosh picks
- Cash back as % of nightly rate
You can additionally filter the search results by:
- Hotel Star Rating
- Hotel Name
- Hotel Amenities
Once you’ve finalized the sorting and filtering options, tap Apply, and your search will be updated with your selections.
Hotel Selection: In order to book one of the hotels in the search results page, select the hotel that you are interested in. You will see different room categories with the corresponding per night rate and cash back amount totals for the reservation. Tap the arrow to the right of the screen under Room Type (Just under the Map) to see other room types / options and more details.
Tap the box next to "Make Refundable?" to select a refundable room.
When you’ve found the room you’d like to book, tap Select.
Booking Page: On the Check Booking Details page you will select the credit or debit card that Dosh has on file to charge the room. You must enter the CVV for the card.
Next, you’ll enter your billing address the first time you book a reservation. Going forward, your billing address will be saved. You can select the email address where you’d like to receive your booking confirmation from the emails linked to your Dosh account.
Guest Information defaults to "Same as Billing". If you’re booking a room for someone else, you can then tap the switch, and enter that person’s name.
If you have a promo code, you can enter it and the system will check if the code is valid. Please note, promotional codes cannot be stacked; only one is permitted per booking, and they cannot be applied after your booking is complete.
Once you’re sure of all the details, tap Confirm Booking. Your reservation will be processed and your card will be immediately charged. The charge will show up as “Hotel Accommodations” or “Travel Reservation” on your credit or debit card statement.
Hotel Confirmation: Once the booking is confirmed, you will receive the confirmation within your Dosh app along with an email. The email will contain all the pertinent information related to that booking. Additionally, it will have the local offers that Dosh has near your hotel!
