Your present balance in your Dosh Wallet may change if a qualifying transaction does not end up clearing on our end. This will result in a qualifying transaction going into an "unverified" or "failed" state. A qualifying transaction will not clear if there has been an adjustment made to the order (such as a cancellation or refund), or we did not receive a cleared status update from your credit card network.
The pending cash back amount will be removed from your present balance if the transaction does not ultimately clear in our system, which will then reflect your accurate wallet balance. Please note, although your transaction may have cleared with your bank or credit card, the updates we receive are an entirely separate process.
You may submit a ticket to Dosh Support if you believe there has been an error with your transaction or in your Dosh Wallet. We are always happy to investigate failed or unverified cash back instances- this can often happen as a result of how the transaction is processed by the merchant, and in these cases we can issue your cash back manually with supporting documentation.
Please note: Pending cash back is not necessarily guaranteed if your transaction does not clear on our end or a change in your purchase has been made.
