Downloading the App
If you've been given a referral link, you can tap the link, which should take you to the appropriate app store to download the app. Otherwise, go to the either the Google Play store or App Store and download the Dosh app onto your mobile phone. Keep in mind that the app is only downloadable on mobile phone devices. At this time, we do not have a desktop version.
Once the app is downloaded, if you have a referral link, tap it to open the app, otherwise, tap the app icon to get started.
Creating Your Account
Next tap 'Join' on the top right, or the button at the bottom labelled 'Join'. From there, you'll be prompted to enter your account information. First your email address and mobile number. When you enter your mobile number, you'll be sent an SMS Text to that number to verify it. You'll be prompted to enter the code we sent you in the next step.
Once you've verified your mobile number, you'll enter your name, and create a password. Password requirements are: at least 8 characters, at least 1 uppercase letter, at least 1 lower case letter, and at least 1 number.
Link a Card
After you've created your account, you'll need to link at least one accepted debit or credit card to use your Dosh Account. To see the cards that we allow to be linked, you can click here. Once you've entered your card information, tap 'Add Card & Agree'. If all of the information is correct, you'll see a success message. From here, if you want to link more cards, use the 'Add all cards for more cash back!' button, or tap 'Cancel' in the top left of the screen to exit card linking.
Verify Your Email
One last step - check your email! We'll send a verification email to the email used to create your account. If you didn't receive the email, be sure to check junk/spam, and if you need to resend it - you can do so from the Inbox in your Dosh app as shown below!
If you find that you entered the email incorrectly, no worries! You can update it from within your app - just follow these instructions.
