If you received a cash back notification after making a qualifying purchase, it means your transaction was successfully registered with Dosh. This cash back is in a "pending" state in our system until your qualifying transaction has been officially cleared on our end.
Please note, although your transaction may have already cleared with your bank or credit card, the updates we receive are an entirely separate process. Once our system has received the necessary update from your credit card processor, you will receive your cash back.
When this happens, you will no longer see "pending" in green underneath your cash back amount, and your cash back will be issued to your Dosh wallet under Recent Transactions. While most transactions are cleared in our system within 7 days, it can sometimes take up to 90 days for online merchants, and 30 days for in store offers and local merchants. When you have successfully received cash back and it is no longer in a "pending" state, you will be able to transfer the funds into your Venmo or PayPal account as long as you have the minimum amount necessary in your wallet balance, which is $15.
If you attempt to withdraw your funds after making a qualifying transaction, and receive a message stating that you must redeem a "cash back transaction" first, it could mean one of the following:
- Your cash back is still in a pending state.
- Your qualifying transaction did not register with Dosh.
- You booked a hotel and once confirmed an error occurred.
- All of your purchases were online and an error occurred.
You can check if your cash back is pending by tapping on the Wallet icon at the bottom of your screen. If your purchase is not listed there, please submit a ticket to our Dosh Support Team and we will gladly look into it for you!
